The impeller is the core component of the pump, which is the main influence factor on the work efficiency. Under specific working conditions, if the impeller is not designed well, it will produce hydraulic loss and clearance loss at the pump inlet and blade. It can be manufactured by CNC engraving, Sand Casting, transparent acrylic(PMMA/PC) 3D Printing.
Maintenance method
① Check the inlet water quality of the pump, according to the inspection situation, the use of well washing (it is recommended to use air compressor or other machinery), set up barriers and other measures to improve the inlet water quality. Ensure that the sand content of water can be effectively reduced (generally, the sand content volume ratio in well water should be no more than 0.02%) and debris content.
② Raise or lift the water pump faucet and water inlet horn to leave the sand. Under normal circumstances, it is better to leave the hole bottom distance of more than 1 meter, not less than 0.5 meters.
③ Open the pump pump body, check the clearance of the seal ring, the installation position of the impeller and the installation quality (whether the positioning key of the impeller moves, whether the lock nut falls off or loosens, and whether the clearance between the impeller and the pump shell meets the requirements, etc.), and repair, adjust or replace it according to the situation. Finally, reassemble the pump correctly as required. When assembling the pump, it is necessary to ensure the installation accuracy of the pump.
④ Open the pump body, check the wear and fixing of the impeller, and the user needs to replace the impeller with a wear-resistant material to extend the life of the impeller.
Eliminate cavitation factors, improve cavitation resistance, and reduce the installation height of the pump as appropriate (to correctly calculate the installation height of the pump).
