Oil pump is a kind of light and compact pump, there are three categories of in-line type, distribution type and single type. The oil pump must have a power source to operate, and the camshaft under it is driven by the engine crankshaft gear. It can be manufactured by CNC engraving, Sand Casting, transparent acrylic(PMMA/PC) 3D Printing.
Oil injection type
The fuel injection pump is mainly used in the automotive diesel engine, and the fuel injection pump assembly is usually composed of the fuel injection pump, the governor and other components installed together as a whole. The governor is a part that ensures the low speed operation of the diesel engine and the limit of the maximum speed, and ensures that the injection volume and the speed maintain a certain relationship. The fuel injection pump is the most important part of the diesel engine, which is regarded as the "heart" part of the diesel engine, and once it goes wrong, the whole diesel engine will work out of order.
Self priming oil type
Before starting the self-priming pump, fill the pump shell with water (or there is water in the pump shell itself). After starting, the impeller rotates at high speed to make the water flow in the impeller groove to the vortex shell, then the inlet forms a vacuum, so that the water inlet check door is opened, the air in the suction tube enters the pump, and reaches the outer edge through the impeller groove. It then merges with water from the right return hole and flows down the volute. As the liquid continuously impacts the cascade in the volute, it is strongly mixed with air to generate a mixture of gas and water, and constantly flows so that gas and water cannot be separated. The mixture is stripped by the spacer tongue at the volute outlet and enters the separation chamber along the short tube. In the separation chamber, the air is separated and discharged by the outlet pipe, while the water still flows to the outer edge of the impeller through the left and right water return holes, and is mixed with the air of the suction pipe. This repeated cycle gradually drains the air in the suction pipe, so that the water enters the pump and completes the self-priming process.
