Basic terminology for gears:
(5) Overdrive. That is, the speed of the output shaft is higher than the speed of the input shaft.

In the transmission gear, the small number of the gear is called low gear, the smaller the number of the gear, the greater the transmission ratio, the greater the traction, and the lower the speed. If the transmission ratio of first gear is the largest in the forward gear, the speed is the lowest, and the traction is the largest. The higher the number, the smaller the transmission ratio, the smaller the traction, but the higher the speed.
(8) Shift gears. The transmission completes the process of changing the transmission ratio called shifting. The gear shift is a gear shift that realizes the transmission ratio change by being integrated with the gear, and the gear ring at the tooth side engages (or separates) with the gear sleeve. Synchronizer shift. Use synchronizer shift. The shift not only has no impact and noise on the joint teeth, but also the shift time is short.
(9) Jump gear. Due to the wear and vibration of the coupling gear in the car, the coupling sleeve and the coupling gear ring are separated and the transmission is in neutral state.
